 HORSE TOUR:

For those who want to experience and enjoy the wild horses in their natural surroundings, Mowdy Ranch offers daily tours year-round.  Tours are available at a cost of $50 for one person and $30/person for 2 or more people. Contact us to set up a tour at a time that is most convient for you. All tours and visits must be scheduled in advance, No drop-ins please!  

Touring in an open air UTV offers guests a unique opportunity for a close up experience with the mustangs. Tours usually last about one hour but times may vary depending on where, and how spread out, the horses are.

Only cell phone photography is permitted on our regular tour. If you would like to use a more serious camera please consider one of our Photographic Tours. 

PHOTOGRAPHIC TOUR:

We offer longer Photographic Tours at a cost of $60 per person. This is perfect for photographers who want to be out at sunrise, sunset or any time in between, you choose the time that best suits you. You will have the extra time you need to get that perfect shot, we won't rush you. Our Photographic Tours can last from two to three hours. 

The hills and sunsets of southeastern Oklahoma are famously beautiful and offer photographers of every level a rare opportunity to photograph wild mustangs (and quite often other wildlife) at ease on the range.  Feel free to photograph and video the horses and we hope you will share some photos with us. 

NOTE: Mowdy Ranch is home to these mustangs and we allow visitors a chance to enjoy, observe and photograph the mustangs in their natural setting without disturbing them. Drone photography is not allowed as this frightens the horses. Our first consideration is always for the care and well being of these majestic animals. 

Mowdy Ranch offers guests the opportunity to stay overnight in our guest lodge. The lodge has a total of 6 guest rooms, each with its own private bathroom. Each of our Regular Suites will sleep up to 4 people on two queen beds. Our Family Suites are two rooms and can each sleep up to 6 people with two full beds in the main room and a queen bed in a small adjacent bedroom. Mowdy Ranch has facilities to host events, group get-aways, family reunions and retreats. The guest lodge includes a great room with fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area and comfortable living area complete with WIFI. . Other common areas include a pub style game room with pool table, darts and wet bar. Outside areas offer a firepit, vollyball court and fishing pond.  With beds for up to 28 people, our lodge can accommodate a wide range of events. An overnight stay at the lodge is $125/nt for a Regular Suite and $175/nt for a Family Suite. A stay in any room  includes the use of  all common areas. Common areas are shared unless you are booking the entire lodge. For large group and entire lodge bookings we have a two night minimum.  

Mowdy Ranch also offers 2 RV hook-ups with either 30 or 50 amp electric and city water (no sewer dump). RV hook-ups are $25/night and include use of all outside common areas: fire pit, volley ball court, fishing pond. An RV hook-up with use of inside common areas is $50/nt.

Other than the guided tour, we will leave you on your own to take advantage of our facilities and make yourself at home. We offer you a quiet place to get away in the country. Feel free to bring your running/hiking shoes, fishing poles and dogs.   Our lodge includes a large fire pit so feel free to build a fire, roast some marshmallows and enjoy the night sky.  You'll be amazed at the stars you can see without the city lights.
