For those who love to photograph and enjoy the wild horses in their natural surroundings, Mowdy Ranch offers daily tours. Tours are available at a cost of $20 per person and must be scheduled in advance. Touring in an open air UTV allows guests to get up close and personal with the mustangs. Tours usually last about one hour, but we love spending time with the horses too, so lingering longer is not a problem. The hills and sunsets of southeastern Oklahoma are famously beautiful and offer photographers a rare opportunity to photograph the horses (and quite often other wildlife) at ease on their range. Feel free to photograph and video the horses and we hope you will share your beautiful photos with us. We would love to post your photos on our website. We always remind people that 100% of the money generated from tours and lodging are deposited back into the Wild Horse and Burro program to help care and provide for the mustangs.

Mowdy Ranch offers guests the opportunity to stay overnight in our lodge. The lodge has a total of 4 suites and 2 bunk rooms, each with their own full bathroom. Each suite sleeps up to 4 people and the larger bunk rooms accommodate groups up to 8. The Ranch has facilities to host weddings, large family reunions, retreats and corporate meetings. The facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, large game room, spacious dining area and satellite television. Our lodge is able to accommodate a wide range of events. An over night stay at the lodge is $100 per night for each suite and $200 per bunk room. This includes use of game room, kitchen and all lodge facilities. Fishing, hiking and mountain biking permitted. Tobacco free & pet friendly facility. RV and outdoor camping available upon request (camping fees will apply). Special Event rates available.

Just to be clear, we are not a "Dude Ranch". Other than the guided tour, we will leave you on your own to take advantage of our facilities and make yourself at home. We offer you a quiet place for you to get away in the country. Feel free to bring your running/hiking shoes, fishing poles, mountain bikes and dogs. It is important to note that you will not be doing any of these activies in the same pasture as the wild mustangs on property. The only time you will be in the same pasture with the horses is during our guided tour. Feel free to build a camp fire and roast some marshmallows while you enjoy the night sky uninterupted by city lights.  Why not let us take care of the food and berverages at your next get together or special event. Mowdy Ranch can supply your outing with some great southeastern Oklahoma dishes that will amply satisfy and leave you with a taste for more. Our local chefs are awaiting the challenge. Prices will vary and will depend on individual requests.
